this is seriously the worst week of my life.

in the past week, ive:

studyed over: 36 hours. and counting.

consumed PROBABLY over 100,363,926 calories. (in the past WEEK. not month. week. yeah.)

thought about quitting school and becoming a hermit 4-200 times.

obviously the stress of finals isnt getting to me at all!

no no. im perfectly fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. days. until. im. home.

COME FASTER PLEASE!!!!!!!

well. tonight's halloween. and I'm about to go out and party until the sun comes up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

k. now that I got all my jokes out for tonight, I'm actually planning on just sitting in my room and watching all of the three halloweentowns. again. so.

(just in case you thought I was kidding or something)

anywayz.

this weekend was actually a deviation from my normal gloom and despair!!!

its a big deal.

I journeyed to A&M once again (like do I even go to Baylor?) for my bff Valerie's birthday! it was SO much fun.

we went to olive garden.

the waiter REALLY liked val....

then we obviously had to take some pictures....(to make it look like I have friends)

we went to a rave for .069 seconds (at a church) (A CHURCH) and all we did was take pictures.

then we went to midnight yell! first off.....never have i ever heard more chants/cheers/rando stories in my lifetime....

(how weird is it that i really enjoyed it????)

then we proceeded to drive all around college station in search of food/hot chocolate. we ended up at a gas station across from a bar (?) which OBVIOUSLY had no hot chocolate

(like..what was our plan..)

anyways.....it was a GOOD TIME!

and then...

I headed BACK to the waco lands on saturday to prepare for the halloween party that night.

remember that time I didnt have a costume and had to go to a ghetto times 100000009 halloween store and get the only non-underwear looking costume they had left which was so big that i had to pin it to make it fit?

OH YEAH I REMEMBER THAT IT WAS SUCH A FUN TIME!!!! ( -_-) no.

i ended up with a flapper costume.

yeah.

at least my friend abigail came down to celebrate halloween with me!

after multiple wrong turns and almost cussing out Siri for giving us wrong directions, we FINALLY made it to the zoo ( yes. the zoo.) where the party was being held!

WELL THEN. afterwords i dropped off the lovebirds

and then headed to KOT and Kappa Sig halloween parties! whooooo gooood times

well. my weekend ended with 500 hours of studying in the lib for history

(which i think i aced) (watch me fail) (yeah probably failed)

SO THAT WAS FUN!!!

Now next weekend is homecoming!

and the next weekend is fall parties!

and the next weekend nothing happens

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT then we have 2 days of school and then its

THANKSGIVING!! yes yes yes yes

and get this.

after thanksgiving. we go back to school for a WEEK of classes. then finals. then.

its CHRISTMAS!!!!!

like is this real life!?!?!??!?!

at least im not counting down to second semester or anything...that would be pretty desperate....OH WELL

I know I haven't been blogging since the beginning of time......

college has just been SOOOO CRAZY!

(nope. not really. i have - friends and am in ZE WORST dorm in the actual world)

but really.

Baylor is the bomb! I really do love it. but thank God first semester is almost over...

BASICALLY:

my classes are the e a s i e s t things ever. Like I pretend I'm smart...but really...I'm in astronomy.....

however, there is one class that is the hardest thing ever. physics? nope. calculus? nope.

religion. RELIGION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good thing I went to a christian school for my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFETIME and I'm struggling in the one class i should be getting an A++++++++++++++++ in!!!! no one prepared me for the hour and 15 minute class that is at the end of my longest days and literally feels like a 14 hour class. it is the end. of. time. ugh. if this class ruins my 4.0...

(again..I'm NOT smart. my classes are EASY)

anyways. I'm currently in my dorm room alone (typical) because my roommate is model who goes to Dallas randomly to do modeling jobs. (typical again) so I obviously have been watching law & order and halloweentown interchangeably.

I wish i could say that I am mentally stable but I'm pretty sure that time in my life has been long gone......

I am WAAAAY to lazy to go through the pain and suffering that usually provides me.

as summer draws to a close, i have decided to sum up my wonderful summer in the following way.

(making a list of all the things that made this summer THE BEST.

aka my summer necessities list)

1)

my wonderfully faithful 4runner.

(not a pic of my real-life car seeing as i have other things to do that take pictures of my car from different angles in a parking lot..) (no i dont)

BUT ANYWAYS!

without this, my many trips down Royal lane, through the waco lands and obviously to arapaho and hillcrest for snowcones this summer would not have been possible.

currently thanking the toyota gods and my loving parents for this one.

yeah ok well this was introduced to me by my dear friend Ellie Turner! first off!! NOTHING. smells better. not one thing. second off my skin sucks and so lotion is a definite necessity. this has become my summer bff.

(mines black btw. i just thought the chick in the picture was awesome/freaky... o.O)

my bff heather halbert gave this to me for my graduation gift, and i must say this is one of the BEST gifts i have ever recieved. Heres the thing. i am outside in my pool 24/9 and i like to listen to music when this happens. HOWEVER! my phone just DOESNT. cut. it. like even with the volume turned all the way up i could actually hear negative pins drop before i heard my music. SO!!! this is where the jambox comes into play!!!! all you have to do is connect your phone to bluetooth and it plays right through this thing!!

but like TEN TIMES LOUDER!!! never been happier.

arizona iced tea and tervis tumbler.

these two things obviously go together. i LIVED off of unsweet iced tea this summer. and without my nifty new baylor tumbler it would have gotten H.O.T while laying out and that would have just been a bad situation!!!

(ps....sorry for the double vision on the tumbler...google was being the worlds biggets butthole and wouldnt pop up a single pic that was big enough.....) (thats a really big problem paige wow really?)

harry. potter. i have been an avid fan since the beginning. none of this

"oh the last movie is coming out and now im a fan" rubbish. (rubbish, eh?)

NO SIR!!!! i am a hpffl and am PROUD OF IT!!! to prove this, i am almost done re-reading the entire series for about the 12th time now. like you think im joking. not even close.

also, another fact to prove my potter craziness, i stayed up ALL NIGHT a few nights ago just to register for early access to the new interactive harry potter world online called pottermore. just like dont judge me....

beautiful, beautiful rosemary beach florida. our yearly destination (sans the last two years..awk..)

this is the prettiest place in the world, the town is the cutest and theres a place called the sugar shak.

my two BEST FRIENDS in the whole entire world, megan and tyler!!!!! like without them (or the africans..) my social life would have actually been the lowest it has been my whole life and this INCLUDES MY MIDDLE SCHOOL YEARS!!! So think about that!!

This was our last night together as tyty had to leave us early to go train with the university of arkansas soccer team! where she is already dominating!!!!

OKAY!!! guys. I'm sorry. I haven't blogged in like four million years (like NO ONE CARES PAIGE!!!!) but!!! i am back!!(seriously...no one...cares...) but many things have happened since I last blogged, starting with my annual trip to

the african lands!

this was the best Africa trip I have ever been on. Like..I LOVED the group. loved. we all got along so well! everything went so smoothly and it was just a great time had by all! lets see...

1) Machakos.

we headed straight to this town right from the airport.We stayed at Scott Theological College as per usual. Here, we worked on helping level ground for a new preschool, did VBS and multiple church ministries.

this is ishmael. crazy kid who has been at Scott every year. we have a love hate relationship.....

(aka hes psycho and pretty much hates me but im totally fine with it.....)

heading to the annual soccer game verses the africans. guess who wins every year.

(hint: not. us.) (if you think I personally have ever touched the field THINK AGAIN!!!!!)

you know this thing? that we all did in lower school? like apparently if you say "girl" it sounds funny...(never has worked for me...typical..) this is just another example about how everyone follows peters lead no. matter. what.

even innocent african children!

our first sunday! (with my bffs ellie and heather) notice our very modest outfits. (a necessity in africa)

then we took our trip to the woodcarvers! me being a third year, i got a total of one thing. while others left with about 100 dollars worth of woodcarvings. in.sane.

you find weird things at the woodcarvers...peter actually wanted to buy this....

then! later in the week, some of us split up from the Machakos group to head off to another city

2)Kajiado.

we were all really happy about the 7 hour bus ride..............

we stopped at this orphanage on the way. everything seemed ok and normal until the head of the orphanage started bringing the kids up one by one and asking where their parents were...example of something she said=

"Her mom lives just down the street...in the cemetery.."

AWK AWK AWK AWK AWK

the kids were adorable though!!!!

this is mama ruth. the matriarch of the village we built the church at (Rruya) She is an AWESOME woman and has a really cool story. we got to listen to it one day and it was lovely.

this. this is chai. apparently since africa got colonized by europe or something they have tea time at 10:45.

EVERY.DAY.

do not be fooled. this isnt like starbucks chai tea (even if it was....i doubt it would be any better..) guys. this is like drinking liquid sugar. NOTHING. IS. WORSE. and we HAVE to drink it...or else..things happen. >:(

this guy was seriously fascinated by my camera. so obviously we had to get a picture. first off..like CHECK the skirt. we had to wear those things. every. day. they were PAINFUL. the women would pull them until our stomachs exploded into tiny pieces. it was not ok.

well. we had to eat goat......texas de brazil style...............................

so obviously we found a hiding place for it..IN the wet wipes packet.

loved her. LOVED.

3) SAFARI!!!!

safari. what we look forward to every year. after two weeks of hard labour, we get to relax for two days before starting our journey home. its always a good time to see the other group!

(seeing as this is my THIRD safari......its not as exciting to see my 705th zebra......so sorry for the lack of pictures i apologize)

this was a road sign we saw on the safari. so now whenever we say "lol" in the african group text we say "oloololo" then "gate" always.

then we take our pictures on the last day!

kj brought a robe so we could like...you know dress up as a wizard...yeah it was a graduation robe.......heath wore it all night....

and THEN the lake this weekend! obviously it was an africa reunion

(even though we hang out every night...)

it was probably one of the more fun weekends of my life! ive actually never laughed harder...especially when we played pictionary telephone...
